Studio Deen took a long hiatus of seven years between season 2 and season 3 which certainly gives us hope that even after five years since the release of its last season, the anime might return. Now when it comes to the fourth installment of the anime, nothing official has been announced yet but considering the anime’s previous release schedule, if at all it is renewed, ‘Junjou Romantica’ season 4 will probably premiere in 2021. Season 3 of the anime then premiered on Jand went on till September 24, 2015. This was then followed by a season 2 that aired from to Dec 28, 2008. ‘Junjou Romantica’ season 1 premiered on Apand with a total of 12 episodes, it ended on June 27, 2008. Junjou Romantica Season 4 Release Date: When will it premiere? Certainly a must-watch for all romantic anime lovers out there who don’t mind the involvement of yaoi. Overall, it is the kind of show that might initially give you a wrong impression of what it’s trying to portray, but if you stay with it for a fairly long time, you pleasantly shocked at how addicting it can be.
While most anime shows focus on typical heterosexual relationships between high school students, ‘Junjou Romantica’ defies the common norm and brings a positive light on the homosexual relationships of its characters.
